What Cookies Are
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser when you visit a website. They allow us to remember information between page loads, such as whether you are logged in, your timezone, and your preferred theme.
Cookies We Use
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| mcm_session | Authenticates your logged-in session | 7 days |
| mcm_csrf | Protects against cross-site request forgery attacks | 7 days |
| mcm_consent | Stores your cookie consent preferences | 1 year |
Third-Party Services
We rely on a small number of third-party services to operate the platform. These services may set their own cookies on their respective domains:
- Stripe - payment processing and fraud detection.
- Vercel - hosting and anonymized analytics (no personally identifiable information collected).
- TradingView - embedded chart widgets on coin pages.
- PostHog - product analytics and session recordings (form inputs are masked) that help us understand how the site is used.
We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any advertising network trackers.
How to Control Cookies
You can clear or block cookies through your browser settings. Please note that essential cookies, such as mcm_session, are required for the platform to function properly. Blocking these cookies may log you out and prevent certain features from working correctly.
Most browsers also offer a “Do Not Track” signal. We honor this signal by disabling all non-essential analytics for those visitors.
